- If you weren’t an artist what would you be doing right now?
“I’d probably be dead honestly. Art allows me to feel alive and to feel connected to other people. If I hadn’t learned to express myself through music I probably would’ve made some bad decisions and been overwhelmed by my internal demons.”
2. What is the weirdest or funniest moment you’ve ever had at a show?
“One time I tried to pull the mic off the stand and accidentally ripped the cord out! It was literally at the climax of the show too, so it was so embarrassing. Luckily my band was with me that night so they were able to cover for me, but it was a solid 15 seconds before I got the mix plugged back in.”
3. What do you feel is the best song/video you’ve ever released and why?
“Concussion (releasing Oct. 9th) is by far the most well-done video and is going to blow people’s minds. It looks like we had a million dollar budget. But as of now it’s got to be my video for American Dreams because I literally had…
