Battle Royale is an online multiplayer video game genre that combines the survival, discovery, and scavenging features of a survival game with man-made gameplay. Iraqi content creator Osama Habeeb is arranging remote workshops with the goal of closing security holes in some electronic games, including in particular the PUBG game, to block the way for Internet hackers who infiltrate personal accounts by gaming. Battle Royal games require thousands to hundreds of teams, who begin with limited resources and then have to kill all other competitors while avoiding being stuck outside the diminishing “safe area” with the last player or team surviving being the winner.

Battle Royale games are played by multiple players, two sets of players, or small groups (ordinarily of 3–5 players). In each match, the objective is to be the last player or team to stand by removing all other opponents. The match begins by putting the player-characters in a large map room, usually by making all players slide off a large aircraft within a limited timeframe. The map will have random distribution or allow players to control where they start. All players begin with limited facilities, giving no team a tacit advantage at the start.
