Kyngjai Manifesting His Vision

26 years old artist Kyngjai who was born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica and he moved to the United States in late 2010 when he was 15 years old. When he arrived in the United States the music culture was very different than what he was used to in Jamaica. Long story short Kyngjai fell in love with hip-hop and the culture. Kyngjai was first influenced by legends including Lil Wayne, Tupac Shakur, and Jay Z.

We asked Kyngjai what made him like these three artists so much and his response was:

“I really was influenced by Pac due to his poetic and spiritual style of music, Lil Wayne displayed his emotions and struggles from adolescents, and Jay Z was an artist that manifested his vision.” — Kyngjai
