What is your name ?
“Jonathan Mills, AKA JMills.”
How old are you?
“24.”
How did you get into making music?
“Music is the only thing I found myself being drawn back too. Listening to artists such as Eminem, Wutang, Busta Rhymes, Big Pun, Biggie, Large Professor, J Dilla, Slum Village, Madlib etc really inspired me to get involved in rap music.”
What would make a record label sign you ?
“I’m optimistic, I know what will sound good, and I’m not satisfied until my project sounds how I want it to sound. I’m up for challenges.”
What is your main goal?
“To make a name, gain a following, leave my imprint on music and try to help people in different ways after that with the resources I’ve gained to make a difference.”
Do you want money or the fame if you could only choose one answer?
“Fame, I want to be known for my music.”
What is your biggest accomplishment as an artist?
“Writing my own work.”
Who was your biggest influencer in music ?
“Busta.”
Who would you most like to collaborate with if gotten the chance ?
“Open to anything as long as I’m feeling the work.”
