From humble beginnings, Sammy of East Atlanta, Georgia, is a teacher, rapper & speaker. Understanding & living his life’s purpose of loving people and children, Rigaud gained recognition after one of his ‘Freestyle Fridays’ viral videos last November. He came up with the program as a way to get his students excited about learning. The North Miami native continues to bridge the gap between parents, students and teachers as he incorporates his love for music in all that he does. He considers himself the assignment to restore families and wants his creativity to be a voice the world can hear. Drawing inspiration from his community, his students know that Mr Rigaud is family to them & his class is a safe place learning takes place; while being cared for and loved holistically for the intelligent & beautiful people they are. The rapper remains unwavering in his dedication, love and commitment to educating and shaping the world’s next great wave of great leaders.
