Budding Author, Shari Sanahi, Speaks About Her Soon To Be Released Book, “Burned Bridges Lead To Better Roads: A Survivor’s Method to Risk-Taking Through Radical Change.”
1) What inspired you to write your latest book?
From a young age, I always knew I would tell my story and could never give up on that vision. My inspiration comes from understanding one simple fact: regardless of what a human goes through, humans can see hardship, trauma, and pain to the other end. My personal account shows living proof of this reality. Thankfully, even though I have been through a lot I managed to become enamored with hundreds of books and movies over my life time. As I look back, I can see reading and being consumed by works of art from a young age paid off during a time we all had no choice but to collectively become introspective. Everything I absorbed, read, and studied over the years was looking for a way out of my system during a time the world was on lockdown. This time of reflection and being to myself spurred another healing process on top of many that I have undergone in the past six years. This healing process I underwent leads me to find an outlet for the information I have obtained, which kick-started my first book. This scenario made me realize this project would not only be therapeutic for me but therapeutic for others. At the beginning of the book, I mentioned that I did not have a choice to write this book.
